WHAT IS KEY CLUB?

Key Club is a service club that provides high school students with many volunteer opportunities. It is a great way to give back to the community and build new friendships.

 

WHAT DOES "K-E-Y"MEAN?

K-E-Y is an acronym for Kiwanis Educating Youth.

 

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER?

It's simple! Go to the events page and choose events that you want to volunteer at, then fill our sign up form! Your sign up form will be sent to the board and you are obliged to be present in the event - if you are unable to volunteer after signing up, please inform an officer as soon as possible.

 

WHAT CAN I DO IN KEY CLUB?

Key Club is the opportunity to give back to your community through service and fundraisers. Key Club has monthly division council meetings, division-wide service events, and many annual events including Fall Rally North and District Convention. Click here for more information.

 

WHEN ARE CLUB MEETINGS HELD?

Meetings are held in Ms. Mountain's room (S-13) during lunch hours every other Friday's. We try to make our meetings as informative, yet quick as possible as we know many students have other things to do during that period. 

 

WHERE DO YOU PAY MEMBERSHIP FEES & WHY ARE THERE FEES/DUES? 

You can pay at the finance office in the main hall. The fees go back to you! You get many benefits such as membership card, a pin, a booklet; it also goes to grants and scholarships, and a magazine. At the end of the year, you also have the opportunity to vote for offciers for the next term! Still not convinced? Find out more about how membership benefits you here!

WHAT IS KIWANIS?

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged and care for the sick. We develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research and more. Working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. 

 

WHAT IS OUR MOTTO?

"Caring - Our Way of Life" - Through Key Club's work in the home, school, and community, Key Club members have learned that their organization is built around the concept of caring. With this concept as the foundation of the organization, Key Club will continue to be an effective and contributing organization in schools and communities.
